Interesting Fact: Murray served in the army and became an amputee when he was blown up by an improvised explosive device (IED). He had to have the bottom halves of both legs amputated and this is where his team name True Heroes Racing came from. The incident occurred on the 9th of December which is the reason behind his race number.

Racing History: First race in September 2012 in the NGRRC then raced 6 weekends back to back to squeeze seasons worth of racing in to 2 months.

Heroes: Karl Fogerty, Kevin Schwantz and Nick Dinsdale, the man that saved his life by administering the first aid on Murray after the incident. Nick also travels to all of the Triple Challenge races with Murray.
